Finding an immersive way to represent Amsterdam School aesthetics while narrating historical context.
Quorum Edizioni is a publishing house that combines tradition and innovation through a comprehensive and elegant digital library, featuring a searchable catalog, online shop, and dedicated sections for authors and exclusive content, enhancing the user experience through a contemporary and accessible interface.
The project places reading at the center through rigorous information architecture. The semantic structure is clear, with hierarchical headings and explorable indexes. Navigation is linear and predictable, designed to guide users along thematic pathways dedicated to series, authors, and editorial areas, reducing cognitive load.
The catalog is conceived as an organized and progressive consultation space. Search returns relevant results through targeted filters and coherent classification logic. Book pages integrate structured metadata, previews, and clear calls to action toward purchase. Internal links between titles, authors, and related works build narrative continuity and encourage natural exploration of the entire catalog.
Accessibility is adopted as a design principle, not as an ancillary requirement. The design follows WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines by addressing semantics, color contrasts, focus states, and component consistency. The interface is fully keyboard-accessible and optimized for screen readers. Typography, spacing, and microinteractions are calibrated to improve readability and support comprehension across all devices.
The transition from discovery to conversion is designed to be seamless and frictionless. Checkout is streamlined, with readable button states and consistent system messages. The infrastructure is responsive and modular, designed to ensure stable performance and catalog scalability, maintaining visual and functional continuity between editorial showcase, author pages, and shop.
An essential and timeless visual identity where content guides form. Typography, grid, and palette create clear hierarchies and a recognizable order, extending consistently across the catalog and all editorial communication.
A reading-centered digital platform with solid semantics, clear navigation, and accessible design. Search, book pages, and e-commerce work together to support exploration, reduce friction, and ensure a coherent experience across devices.
From Real Estate Branding to complex FinTech platforms to emotionally-driven cultural brands, our design process adapts to the unique challenges of each sector.
